Kit was born and raised just outside of Des Moines, IA. She obtained her Bachelors in Pre-Health Studies and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, where she was on the drumline. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Des Moines University in 2025. She has clinical experience spanning from the ICU to general orthopedics and treating higher level athletes from a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. She enjoys treating patients across the lifespan with a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
Kit has specific interests in runners and return to sport athletes, throwers, general orthopedics, back pain, lower extremity injuries, balance, and neck pain.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing basketball, hiking, biking, watching sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
