Meghan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 2013. She attended James Madison University and in 2008 was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Meghan is licensed through the Virginia State Board of Health Professions. She became certified in dry needling (CMTPT/DN) in 2018. Meghan is very interested in scar and fascial dysfunction, taking numerous classes in different release techniques and earning her certification as a Functional Fascial Therapeutics practitioner (FFTp). She has taken coursework in Myofascial Decompression (cupping) as well as Graston instruments. Meghan is a certified APTA clinical instructor and has worked with many students from local universities. She has a special interest in foot/ankle injuries, sacroiliac joint disorders, hypermobility disorders/EDS, and myofascial manual therapy for scar and dysfunctional tissue. As a former athlete, she has special knowledge in treating field hockey players, swimmers, rowers, and dancers. In her free time, Meghan does local vocal performances, goes to musical theatre productions, reads fiction novels, and spends time with her husband, two children, and two dogs”
